Description of plywood grade C/C:
Grade С – is the cheapest grade of plywood that is used for use in building structures. The appearance of the front side is usually not polished. In grade C, knots partially fused and ungrown, holes from fallen knots, no more than 40 mm in size, open cracks no more than 10 mm wide, edge defects no more than 5 mm wide are allowed. In grade C, healthy light and dark knots are allowed without limiting the size and quantity. In the inner layers, a lack of veneer up to 10 mm wide is allowed. The lack of veneer at the edges should not exceed 5 mm. It is allowed to putty knots, cracks no larger than 60 mm. Allowed false core, chemical colors, Browning, spots. It is allowed to repair the veneer with single and double inserts. Also, in grade C, veneer overlays, dents, and sanding are allowed.
